PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which combines both an aeration function and a deodorizing function by fixing a deodorizing agent without impairing air permeability when a sheet having the air permeability is used.SOLUTION: An article having the air permeability is used for a back side sheet 2, and the deodorizing agent 10 in the form of powder is coated in a hounds-tooth check pattern on a face on the side of an absorber 4 of the back side sheet 2 by gravure printing or flexographic printing. Consequently, the air permeability is ensured even in a part where the deodorizing agent 10 is printed, and an odor component is efficiently adsorbed in a part where the deodorizing agent 10 is not coated owing to peripheral parts where the deodorizing agent 10 is coated since the deodorizing agent is coated in the hounds-tooth check pattern.
