PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily attach a cuff of a sphygmomanometer composed of the cuff and a body separate from the cuff to a measured region, and to reproduce the secure winding of the cuff around the measured region each time of measurement.SOLUTION: In the sphygmomanometer, the cuff 20A enclosing an air bag is separated from the body having an inflating/deflating mechanism for inflating/deflating the air bag. The cuff 20A comprises a tubular cuff body part 30 into which a users upper arm can be inserted, and a handle part 40 disposed on the outer surface of the cuff body part 30. The cuff body part 30 comprises tightening belts 31 and 32 wound around the outer side of the air bag, and a tightening length adjusting mechanism 50 for changeably adjusting the tightening length of the tightening belts 31 and 32 to the upper arm.
