PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biomaterial ceramics produced by substituting and forming silicic acid in a phosphoric acid position in a &bgr type tricalcium phosphate structure or a biomaterial ceramics produced by substituting and forming silicon in the phosphorous position in the &bgr type tricalcium phosphate structure.SOLUTION: &bgr-TCP is produced by substituting and forming magnesium (Mgion) in Ca(4) site and Ca(5) site, sodium (Naion) in a vacancy of Ca(4) site, silicon (Siion) in a phosphorus (Pion) of P(1) site.
