PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a medical worker who has received a notification to make rapid correspondence by determining the necessity of the correspondence when a sensor detects a predetermined state.SOLUTION: A nurse call system includes a notification control section 25. A sensor 5 detects a predetermined state, and then a reader 9 reads identification information from a storage medium 6 carried by a medical worker in a ward where the sensor 5 is arranged. In this state, the notification control section allows a notification section 26 to notify each one of portable terminals 8 of multiple medical workers in charge of patients corresponding to the sensor 5 of a notification in which information for identifying the medical worker corresponding to the identification information read by the reader 9, information for identifying the patient corresponding to the sensor 5, and information for identifying a ward where the predetermined state has detected are included in display contents.
