PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the unintended action of an intraocular lens before making it usable from the state of keeping and transporting an injector.SOLUTION: The intraocular lens insertion system comprises: an intraocular lens insertion implement provided with a lens deformation part wherein an area constituted of an insertion cylinder for inserting the intraocular lens and two openable and closable halved members at the proximal end is provided and the lens is placed inside the area, and an extrusion means for extruding the lens and a holder for fixing the insertion implement. A regulating member for regulating the movement in a closing direction of the halved members in a state where the insertion implement is fixed to the holder and maintaining them in the state of not applying stress to the lens is provided on the holder, and an energizing means for energizing the halved members in the closing direction in the state is included.
