PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus, etc., capable of sufficiently observing the condition of a tissue motion in a three-dimensionally complicated moving state concerning a representative heart, etc., by setting a gauge for strain measurement in three-dimensional data, so as to convert the gauge into an image.SOLUTION: The plurality of strain gauges to be defined by gauge end points are set in each time phase through the use of tissue motion vector information. Then, a three-dimensional strain gauge image is generated and displayed, where the respective strain gauges are arranged at three-dimensional positions corresponding to ultrasonic images in each time phase.
