The invention relates to a device for collecting bee venom which comprises a housing with an entrance opening for bees, a set of electrical conductors being arranged in the housing, the set of electrical conductors comprising at least one primary conductor and at least one secondary conductor electrically isolated from the primary conductor, the at least one primary and the at least one secondary conductors being spaced apart from each other, wherein the device further comprises means for applying an electric voltage between the at least one primary and the at least one secondary conductors, wherein the housing further has a net separating an exterior from an interior thereof.
