A mounting member 10, suitable for a wearable monitor 90, includes at least one flexible textile sensor (22, figure 2b) and a processing unit (44, fig 3a) configured to receive and process data from the textile sensor, comprises a mounting body 12. The mounting body 12 includes at least one textile sensor receiving formation (16, 18, figure 7) to receive and retain in a taught configuration a portion 20 of the textile sensor. The mounting body 12 also includes a processing unit retaining formation 42 to receive a processing unit (44, fig 3a) of a wearable monitor 90 and retain the processing unit in electrical contact with the retained taught portion 20 of the textile sensor.
