Disclosed are an immunotherapy and a method for evaluating the efficacy of an immunotherapy, both of which utilize a novel cancer-tissue-derived cell mass (a cell mass derived from a cancer tissue) or a novel cancer cell aggregate which can reflect the in vivo behavior of a cancer cell accurately. A composition for treating cancer is prepared by chemically or photodynamically treating a cancer-tissue-derived cell mass or a cancer cell aggregate. The composition for treating cancer can be used as a cancer vaccine which is intended to be directly administered to a patient from which the cell mass or the cell aggregate is derived, or as a medicinal agent which is intended to be contacted in vitro with cells derived from blood collected from the patient. Further, the efficacy of an immunotherapy can be evaluated by measuring the activity of a killer T-cell in blood over time using a cancer-tissue-derived cell mass or a cancer cell aggregate.생체 내에서의 암 세포의 거동을 정확하게 반영할 수 있는 신규의 암 조직 유래 세포괴 또는 암 세포 응집괴를 이용하여, 면역요법 및 면역요법의 효과 평가법을 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 암 조직 유래 세포괴 또는 암 세포 응집괴를 화학 처리 또는 광선 역학 처리를 함으로써 암 치료용 조성물을 조제한다. 이 암 치료용 조성물은, 유래하는 환자에게 직접 투여하기 위한 암 백신으로서 혹은 환자 유래의 혈액으로부터 얻어진 혈액 유래 세포에 인비트로에 있어서 접촉시키기 위한 약제로서 이용할 수 있다. 또한, 암 조직 유래 세포괴 또는 암 세포 응집괴를 이용하여 경시적으로 혈액 중의 킬러 T 세포의 활성을 측정함으로써 면역요법의 효과를 평가할 수도 있다.
