PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prefilled syringe filled with syringe water and complying with the Japanese Pharmacopoeia.
SOLUTION: The prefilled syringe filled with syringe water is manufactured as following steps. In the prefilled syringe, it is manufactured from resins with a glass transition temperature of 100-150°C, including elastomer used as a material for the gasket for drug injection, and cycloolefin polymer, especially cycloolefin-based polymer or its hydrogenolysis obtained by the ring-opening metathesis polymerization of norbornene or its derivative, or a mixture of these cycloolefin-based polymers, used as a material for the external syringe tube.
