Isosorbide derivatives according to the general formula (I) where R and R - independently of one another - are: (i) a hydrogen atom, or (ii) a radical COR", where R" is a linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated alkyl radical having 5 to 23 carbon atoms, or (iii) a linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated alkyl radical having 6 to 22 carbon atoms, or (iv) a radical CH2-CHOH-R" , where R" is a linear or branched alkyl radical having 6 to 22 carbon atoms, or (v) a radical (CH2-CH2O)n-H and/or (CH2-CH(CH3)-O)m-H, where n and m, independently of one another, can be an integer or fraction from 1 to 10, or (vi) for a radical SO3OX, where X represents a sodium or ammonium ion, with the proviso that at most one of the radicals R and R is a hydrogen atom, are suitable for producing cosmetic compositions.Linvention concerne des dérivés disosorbide de formule générale (I) où R et R - indépendamment lun de lautre - sont : (i) un atome dhydrogène, ou (ii) un radical COR", où R" est un radical alkyle saturé ou insaturé, linéaire ou ramifié ayant de 5 à 23 atomes de carbone, ou (iii) un radical alkyle saturé ou insaturé, linéaire ou ramifié ayant de 6 à 22 atomes de carbone, ou (iv) un radical CH2-CHOH-R" , où R" est un radical alkyle linéaire ou ramifié ayant de 6 à 22 atomes de carbone, ou (v) un radical (CH2-CH2O) n-H et/ou (CH2-CH (CH3) -O) m-H, où n et m, indépendamment lun de lautre, peuvent être un nombre entier ou une fraction allant de 1 à 10, ou (vi) un radical SO3OX, où X représente un ion sodium ou ammonium, à condition quau maximum un des radicaux R et R soit un atome dhydrogène. Lesdits dérivés disosorbide sont appropriés pour la production de compositions cosmétiques.
