PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine taking management system for managing medicine taking and preventing a user from forgetting to take a medicine, and a medicine taking management device.SOLUTION: A medicine taking management system is formed of: a medicine taking management device body 2 comprising respective pockets 6 which are arranged in four rows on a surface of a board 5, a pair of LED lights 10 disposed on left and right parts of each pocket 6, an infrared sensor 9 for sensing presence/absence of a medicine stored in each pocket 6, through a hole provided on the board 5 in each pocket 6, and control means for controlling the infrared sensors 9 and the LED lights 10 a terminal device for transmitting and receiving control information of the control means through the Internet, and displaying information about presence/absence of the medicine stored in each pocket 6 on a display screen and a database for storing data acquired by the infrared sensor 9 and the control information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
