PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underpants type wearing article which prevents a side seal part from being separated in wearing and facilitates tearing of the side seal part in removing.SOLUTION: In an underpants type wearing article, a pair of side seal parts 8, 8 are formed by joining both side parts of an abdominal side part A and both side parts of a back side part B. The side seal part 8, 8 has a fusion part 81 where the abdominal side part A and the back side part B are fused, and a joining strength reducing agent 66 is disposed between sheets of the side seal parts 8, 8.
