An orthopaedic prosthetic assembly (10) includes a femoral component (12) configured to be attached to a distal end of a patient's femur. A tibial tray (18) is configured to be attached to a proximal end of a patient's tibia. A tibial insert (16) is provided that includes a spine (44) extending proximally from a body (36), and a pin hole (52) extending through the spine. A bushing (54) is sized and shaped to be positioned in the pin hole of the spine. A hinge pin (56) is sized and shaped to be positioned in the bushing to couple the tibial insert to the femoral component. The bushing includes a retaining tab (314) configured to engage an inner wall of the pin hole to secure the bushing to the spine.
