The present invention relates to a dental implant, in which artificial teeth can be firmly supported against external pressure applied in a lateral direction, and the external pressure can be effectively distributed over the whole surface of a fixture so as to maximize shock buffering effects, and which can be easily operated and has significantly augmented durability to thus elongate the life of the implant. The dental implant comprises: a fixture which has an upper portion with an axial hole and which is implanted on a jaw bone and an abutment including a lower tightening shaft inserted into a guide hole of the fixture and tightened to the fixture, and an upper mount part on which a prosthesis is mounted. The lower tightening shaft of the abutment includes a shock buffer part having at least one horizontal through-hole.
