The present invention discloses an endovascular device arrangement (1) comprising a vascular access port (10); an endovascular device (20) for inserting into a patient's blood vessel through said vascular access port; and a near-field communication module (15) including an antenna (17), wherein at least the antenna of the near-field communication module is located within the vascular access port; and the endovascular device comprises an electronic device (25) and an antenna arrangement (21) communicatively coupled to said electronic device for maintaining a near-field communication link between the electronic device and the near-field communication module whilst the endovascular device passes through the vascular access port, said antenna arrangement comprising an array of antenna elements (21) located along a shaft of the endovascular device (20), each of said antenna elements being communicatively coupled to said electronic device (25).
