PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod capable of raising resistive force to bending and improving fish up force, by mounting a simple structure on a part on the butt side of a rod body on the smaller-diameter side.SOLUTION: An outer peripheral surface 2A on the butt side of a second rod 2 is brought into pressure contact with an inner peripheral surface 3A on the tip side of a third rod 3, to set the second rod 2 and the third rod 3 in an elongated state.
