PURPOSE: Artificial saliva containing a Chinese yam extract is provided to effectively prevent and treat xerostomia. CONSTITUTION: Artificial saliva contains a Chinese yam extract as an active ingredient. The Chinese yam extract contains 1.0-1.5 mg/ml of protein and 0.9-1.1 mg/ml of carbohydrate. The artificial saliva is used for preventing and treating xerostomia. The artificial saliva is also used for preventing and treating complications due to reduction of saliva secretion.본 발명은 마 추출물을 포함하는 인공타액 및 이의 용도에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 의한 마 추출물을 유효성분으로 포함하는 인공타액은 기존의 미가공(crude) 상태의 마와는 달리 비자극성 전타액과 유사한 인공타액이며, 구강건조증 환자의 예방 및 치료에 효과적이다.
