The machine is for harvesting leeks and similar plants, and comprises a pair of endless belts working in conjunction with each other which extend backwards and upwards in a slanting manner from the machine front side. Next to the belts are nozzles through which compressed air can be blown along the plants standing up under the belts. The nozzles are adjustable transverse to or along the lengthways direction of the belt. Next to the front end of the belts (4, 5) are further nozzles (10, 11) with the aid of which leaves of the plants can be blown upwards.
