CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating enterohemorrhagic E. colibacillosis contains a Patrinia scabiosaefolia extract as an active ingredient. The extract is prepared from Patrinia scabiosaefolia using water, C1-C4 alcohol, or a mixture thereof. The C1-C4 alcohol is methanol or ethanol. The extract is an ethyl acetate fraction of Patrinia scabiosaefolia.
