The system includes a straw and a liquid diluting medium. The straw comprises a tube (11) extending between a first end and a second end and comprises a gas-permeable and liquid-tight plug, which plug is disposed in the tube (11) near its first end and extends between a first end facing the first end of the tube (11) and a second end facing the second end of the tube (11). The plug has an element (14) impregnated with a reagent (22) at least in the vicinity of a first end facing the second end of the tube (11). The liquid diluting medium is provided to give by mixing, under predetermined conditions, the liquid-based substance (21). The reagent (22) and the medium (27) are configured to contact the substance (21) with the first end of the impregnated member (14) to form a hydrogel. Le réactif (22) et le milieu (27) sont configurés pour qu'au contact de la substance (21) avec la première extrémité de l'élément imprégné (14), il se forme en hydrogel.
