In certain aspects, the present disclosure is directed to soluble heteromeric polyproteins comprising the extracellular domain of the type I serine / threonine kinase receptor of the TGF-beta family and the extracellular domain of the type II serine / threonine kinase receptor of the TGF-beta family. A peptide conjugate is provided. In some embodiments, the disclosure provides a soluble polypeptide complex comprising the extracellular domain of a type II receptor selected from ActRIIA, ActRIIB, TGFBRII, BMPRII, and MISRII.
