The present disclosure relates, according to some embodiments, to a device and/or system (e.g., redistributing weight away from a subjects foot), which may comprise (a) a boot, (b) a material cover, (c) an anterior cuff and a posterior cuff, wherein the anterior cuff and the posterior cuff are connected to one another with one or more fasteners, and wherein the cuffs slide in relation to the boot, (d) a lift mechanism that allows the cuffs to vertically slide in relation to the boot.
