PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing device capable of removing odorous components, a tobacco smell, and a nonenal smell in the air, by using an electric fan.SOLUTION: A deodorizing device 10A made of soft polyurethane foam 11 having continuous open cells includes a front face 13 and a rear face with a prescribed area, a plurality of ventilation channels extending between the front and rear faces 13, and a plurality of vent holes connecting to the ventilation channels, with openings at the front and rear faces, respectively. Active carbon powder for adsorbing offensive odor is fixed to the front and rear faces 13 and the wall surface of the ventilation channels with a prescribed binder. The whole area of the front face 13 is covered with a gas-permeable sheet 20 having a filter function, while the whole area of the rear face is covered with a gas-permeable net having a plurality of meshes.
