[PROBLEMS] To provide an absorbent article that has a winglike flap and, in the state of being individually packaged, has the winglike flap doubled over, and that is designed so that, when in opening the individual packaging member together with the release member is separated from the napkin, the for-wing release member can be deployed smoothly without resistance to thereby accomplish easy separation of the release member from the napkin. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] In the state of product being individually packaged, not only is winglike flap (W) together with for-wing release member (12) folded onto the side of liquid-permeable front face sheet (3) but also individual packaging member (16) is bonded with for-main-body release member (11) and/or the for-wing release member (12). Accordingly, distal end portions of winglike flaps (W,W) are superimposed one upon the other on the side of liquid-permeable front face sheet (3). At the superimposing area, the portions of the winglike flaps are bonded together by means of wing temporary fixing pressure sensitive adhesive layer (14). The adhesion strength of the wing temporary fixing pressure sensitive adhesive layer (14) is set lower than that between wing displacement preventing pressure sensitive adhesive layer (10) and the for-wing release member (12).
