According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method for generating a prosthetic model for cranio maxillofacial deficiency comprises the following steps: obtaining three-dimensional (3D) surface data of a face of a patient with maxillofacial deficiency； extracting a defect area on the patient′s face out of the 3D surface data； extracting selected area including at least some areas other than the defect area on the 3D surface data； extracting a symmetry plane in the selected area； extracting a defect corresponding area corresponding to an area where the defect area is mirrored based on the symmetry plane； and generating a prosthetic model of the defect area based on the mirrored area of the defect corresponding area based on the symmetry plane.본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 두개악안면 결손 보철 모델 생성 방법은, 안면 결손 환자 얼굴의 3D 표면 데이터를 획득하는 단계； 상기 3D 표면 데이터에서, 상기 환자 얼굴의 결손영역을 추출하는 단계； 상기 3D 표면 데이터에서 상기 결손영역을 제외한 나머지 영역의 적어도 일부를 포함하는 선택영역을 추출하는 단계； 상기 선택영역의 대칭면을 추출하는 단계； 상기 대칭면을 기준으로 상기 결손영역을 미러링(mirroring)시킨 영역에 대응하는 결손대응영역을 추출하는 단계； 및 상기 대칭면을 기준으로 상기 결손대응영역을 미러링시킨 영역에 기반하여 상기 결손영역의 보철 모델을 생성하는 단계를 포함한다.
