A cleaning system (26) for an agricultural combine harvester (10) includes a sieve (102) having a periphery (108) and an interference member (110) located at the periphery (108). A chaffer frame (104) carries the sieve (102), and includes a clamp (116) with a pair of spring fingers (118) positioned on either side of the interference member (110), thereby retaining the sieve (102) within the chaffer frame (104).
