PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of control of pest laying eggs in water, such as wigglers (mosquito larvae), by the method which can be easily and continuously performed without causing environmental pollution.SOLUTION: The growth of aquatic pests such as wigglers can be inhibited and the pests can be controlled by placing a molded resin article, which contains a soluble glass capable of solving out silver ions in water with the passage of time or silver-substituted inorganic ion exchanger, in a pool of water, which is a potential nursery of the aquatic pests such as wigglers, or a place, where the pool of water is generated, or the like.
