PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bee hive that has an upper space for moving hot air in the hive in a transverse direction, and thereby can efficiently perform ventilation from a ventilation window.SOLUTION: A bee hive is characterized as follows: the hive is formed in a box body capable of storing a hive frame 6 inside an inner lid 2 and an outer lid 3 formed so as to seal an upper opening 16 are connected in an upper edge of one side wall and the sidewall opposed to the sidewall, respectively a shelving member 5 formed of a concave notch 51 capable of fitting an engaging protrusion 64 of the hive frame 6 is attached in the inside of one sidewall where the inner lid 2 and the outer lid 3 are not provided and the sidewall opposed to the one sidewall and hive frame fixing means for fixing the engaging protrusion 64 of the hive frame 6 to the notch 51 while being fitted is included.
