PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet protective cosmetic giving no unnatural pale appearance when applied to the skin, having high protection ability against UV rays of both A and B regions, and giving good sense of use on application to skin.SOLUTION: The ultraviolet protective cosmetic includes: (a) an ultraviolet absorber absorbing UV-A region UV rays (b) titanium dioxide fine particles and (c) one or more colored powders which are selected from the group consisting of a composite powder including iron oxide and a powder colored with an organic pigment and show a hue of 10P-5GY in the Munsell color system in the dried powder condition.
