PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste culm-treating apparatus precisely carrying out the binding of the waste culm at the positions nearer to the ear tip sides by a simple construction without drastically changing the structure of the waste culm-conveying apparatus and without making a machine body long and large.SOLUTION: A waste culm-treating apparatus capable of discharging and feeding waste culm from a cutter-feeding position K of a regulating nipping rail 6a to a cutter 3 by moving and regulating the regulating nipping rail 6a installed so as to face to the waste culm-conveying apparatus 2 obliquely installed from the root side to the ear tip side viewed from above at the rear part of a threshing machine 1, from the waste culm-conveying apparatus 2 to the waste culm-conveying direction, and installed in the threshing machine regulated so that the waste culm may be discharged and fed to a knotter 4 by moving the regulating nipping rail 6a from a knotter-feeding position moved from the cutter-feeding position K to the downstream side in the conveying direction is constituted so that the most ear tip sides of the waste culm may be bound by feeding the waste culm from the most ear tip binding position S formed by moving the regulating nipping rail 6a to the more upstream side in the conveying direction than the cutter conveying position K to the knotter 4.【課題】排稈搬送装置構造を大きく変更したり機体を長大化させることなく簡単な構成によって、排稈のより穂先側位置の結束を確実に行う排稈処理装置を提供する。【解決手段】脱穀機１の後部に平面視で株元側から穂先側に向けて斜設される排稈搬送装置２から、排稈搬送装置２に対設される調節挟持レール６ａを排稈搬送方向に移動調節することにより、調節挟持レール６ａのカッタ供給位置Ｋから排稈をカッタ３に排出供給すると共に、調節挟持レール６ａをカッタ供給位置Ｋより搬送方向下流側に移動させたノッタ供給位置から、排稈をノッタ４に排出供給するようにした脱穀機に設置される排稈処理装置であって、調節挟持レール６ａを、カッタ供給位置Ｋより搬送方向上流側に移動させた最穂先結束位置Ｓから排稈をノッタ４に供給することにより、排稈の最穂先側を結束させるように構成した。【選択図】図１
