The wearable otoscope may be capable of wireless or wired communication with a second device such as a smartphone. Some dual-earoscope implementations may be provided in a headphone-like configuration that may include a headband attachable to the earbud of the dual-earoscope. However, some alternative implementations do not include a headband. In some examples, at least a portion of the dual earoscope can be a disposable component. In some implementations, dual earoscope functions (light illumination angle, imaging function, etc.) may be controlled in accordance with commands received from the second device.
