PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive shelf made of a metal and placing planted pots associated with the vegetation of wall surfaces and the surface of outside of windows of low, middle and high rise constructions, capable of using various kinds of plants, using planting pots easy for maintenance and control such as the pruning, nutrition supply and exchange of plants, watering, or the like, preventing the planted pots from falling down and off in strong wind or by an earthquake, or the like, having a light weight, flame retardant property, weather resistance and material strengths, also having a scene-decorating property, easily mounted to the constructions and being simply processed and manufactured. SOLUTION: This shelf for placing pots is provided by using an extrusion-formed member made of an alloy having a light weight, flame retardant, not generating rust, having weather resistance, material strengths and scene-decorating property and easily performing the junction and process/assembly of the members each other, and the pots are produced by press-processing a metal plate. Also, the extrusion-formed members are constituted by horizontal members and vertical members, the assembly is performed by inserting/fitting the upper and lower horizontal members and the front, rear and middle vertical members with horizontal and vertical members by fixing the both end positions using metal plates and screws.
