Sound absorber (1) for ventilation means having an expiration valve, comprising a first flow channel (3) and a second flow channel (5) for conducting breathable air, wherein an expiration valve is connectable to the first flow channel and the second flow channel so that both air flowing to the expiration valve and air flowing from the expiration valve is directed through one of the first and second flow channels of the sound absorber.
