Various embodiment of the present invention provide a distal femoral trial thatallows a surgeon to cut the central box geometry of a distal femur using an implant-shapedtrial. The trial includes a cutting guide that is removable from the trial andadjustable with respect to the trial. The guide is intended to control the depthand direction of the cutting instruments used to prepare the femur for the a posteriorstabilized implant.
