The present invention relates to a novel eye drop composition containing rebamipide, and to a production method thereof. The eye drop composition of the present invention exhibits excellent functionality with regard to stability in that reapplication is not needed, since the eye drop composition maintains transparency for a long period of time even in a physiologically neutral and weak basic pH region which does not cause harm to keratoconjunctiva in a patient with xerophthalmia.본 발명은 레바미피드를 함유하는 신규한 점안 조성물 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 점안 조성물은 안구건조증 환자의 각결막에 손상을 주지 않는 생리적 중성 내지 약염기의 pH 영역에서도 장기간에 걸쳐 투명성을 유지하면서 재분산이 필요없을 정도로 안정성이 우수한 작용효과를 나타낸다.
