PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food material washing device capable of washing the food material while the whole of the food material is immersed reliably in washing liquid and conveyed regardless of the shape of the food material without enlarging a device.SOLUTION: A conveyance roller 7 included in a storage tank 5 is driven to rotate around a rotation axis L1 by rotation drive means 6 in a state in which a part of the conveyance roller is immersed in washing liquid 3 in the storage tank 5. The washing liquid 3 is taken in to a pump P from a downstream side in a conveyance direction B of the storage tank 5 and injected from an injection nozzle 11 toward an upstream side in the conveyance direction B. The injected washing liquid 3 forms a flow to an upstream side in the conveyance direction B in a lower layer in the storage tank 5 and forms a flow to the downstream side in the conveyance direction B in an upper layer in the storage tank 5. The flow in the upper layer causes a food material 2 floating near a liquid surface 4 of the washing liquid 3 to contact the conveyance roller 7, to be captured by a recessed groove of a recessed member 18 of the conveyance roller 7, to be immersed under the liquid surface 4, and to be conveyed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】 食材の形状に拘らず、装置を大形化せずに、食材全体を洗浄用液体に確実に浸漬させて搬送しながら洗浄することができる食材洗浄装置を提供する。【解決手段】 貯留槽5に備えられる搬送ローラ7は、貯留槽5内の洗浄用液体3に一部を浸漬させた状態で、回転駆動手段6によって回転軸線L1まわりに回転駆動される。洗浄用液体3は、貯留槽5の搬送方向B下流側からポンプPに取込まれ、噴射ノズル11から、搬送方向B上流側に向けて噴射される。噴射された洗浄用液体3は、貯留槽5内の下層で搬送方向B上流側への流れを形成し、貯留槽5内の上層では、搬送方向B下流側への流れを形成する。上層の流れによって、洗浄用液体3の液面4付近に浮遊している食材2を搬送ローラ7に当接させ、搬送ローラ7の凹状部材18の凹溝部に捕捉させ、液面4下へ浸漬させ搬送する。【選択図】 図1
