PURPOSE: A composition for a feed additive is provided to have a bacillus subtilis NP15 strain which has an excellent effect in fattening and gaining weight of animals by assisting the feed digestion of the animals. CONSTITUTION: A composition for a feed additive includes a bacillus subtilis NP15 strain(deposition number: KFCC 11503P). The strain produces surfactin, which is an antibacterial material. The composition for the feed additive further includes at least one enzyme formulation. The enzyme formulation is selected from the group consisting of galactanase, pectinase, amylase, phytase, phosphatase, cellulase, arabinase, xylanase, maltase, and lipase. The composition for the feed additive further includes an apathogenic microorganism. The microorganism is selected from the group consisting of microalgae, lactobacillus species, leuconostoc species, Nocardia species, Streptomyces species, Aspergillus oryzae, and Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The composition for the feed additive further includes beta-carotene, and algae producing astaxanthin as immunoadjuvant.본 발명은 미생물을 함유하는 항생제 대체용 사료첨가제에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 자세하게는 토양에서 분리한 바실러스 서브틸리스 NP 15 균주를 포함하는 사료첨가용 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 사료첨가용 조성물에서 사용되는 바실러스 서브틸리스 NP15 균주는 다른 미생물과는 달리 성장이 우수하고 항균 활성을 갖는 물질을 생산하며, 고온, 위산 및 답즙에 내성을 가지고 식물계 사료의 분해섭취에 용이한 다양한 효소를 분비하는 등 다른 균주와는 다른 유용한 특성을 갖고 있어, 축산동물의 질병예방 및 폐사율 감소, 사료 효율과 체중 증대에 효과적으로 사용될 수 있다.
