The present invention relates to a composition for inhibiting PAR2 activity including punicalagin, and more specifically, to a composition for inhibiting PAR2 activity including punicalagin, a stereomer thereof, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating inflammatory diseases, a health functional food composition, or a cosmetic composition. The composition of the present invention is capable of inhibiting secretion of cytokines caused by PAR2 receptor activity by specifically inhibiting a PAR2 receptor, thereby preventing or treating various inflammatory diseases caused by PAR2 receptor activity. In addition, the composition of the present invention can be developed as a new anti-inflammatory pharmaceutical composition, a health functional food composition, and a cosmetic composition which are natural compounds derived from plants and have less side effects and toxicity.본 발명은 푸니칼라진을 포함하는 PAR2 활성 억제용 조성물에 관한 것으로서, 보다 구체적으로 본 발명은 푸니칼라진, 이의 입체이성질체, 또는 이의 약학적으로 허용되는 염을 포함하는 PAR2 활성 억제용 조성물, 염증성 질환 예방 또는 치료용 약학적 조성물, 건강기능식품 조성물 또는 화장료 조성물을 제공하는 것이다. 본 발명의 조성물은 PAR2 수용체를 특이적으로 억제함으로써 PAR2 수용체 활성으로 인해 유발되는 사이토카인의 분비를 억제할 수 있으며, 이를 통해 PAR2 수용체 활성으로 인해 유발되는 다양한 염증성 질환을 예방 또는 치료할 수 있다. 또한 본 발명의 조성물은 식물 유래 천연 화합물로서 부작용과 독성이 적은 새로운 항염증 약학적 조성물, 건강기능식품 조성물 및 화장료 조성물로 개발될 수 있다.
