Iodinated amphiphilic compound of formula (I): AG1-X-R Wherein AG1 represents an unsaturated (C8-C52) aliphatic hydrocarbon chain found in fatty acids having specific location of double bonds, said chain comprising at least one iodine atom directly linked to a carbon atom of a non-conjugated double bond by a covalent link, the second carbon atom of the said double bond bearing a halogen atom different from a iodine atom, X represents a polyethylene glycol comprising 1 to 50 ethylene glycol groups, R represents a hydrogen atom or a group AG2 being identical to or different from AG1, AG1, X, R and AG2 being selected so that the amphiphilic compound has a hydrophilic/lipohilic balance comprised between 4 and 30.Linvention concerne un composé amphiphile iodé représenté par la formule (I) : AG1-X-R, dans laquelle AG1 représente une chaîne hydrocarbonée aliphatique insaturée (C8-C52) provenant dacides gras qui comprennent un emplacement spécifique de liaisons doubles ladite chaîne comprenant au moins un atome diode directement lié à un atome de carbone de liaison double non conjuguée par une liaison covalente, le second atome de carbone de la liaison double portant un atome halogène différent de latome diode X représente un polyéthylène glycol comprenant 1 à 50 groupes éthylène glycol R représente un atome dhydrogène ou un groupe AG2 identique ou différent de AG1, AG1, X, R et AG2 est sélectionné de telle sorte que le composé amphiphile présente un équilibre hydrophile/lipophile compris entre 4 et 30.
