PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source unit that optimizes exposure.
SOLUTION: This light source unit 10 is provided with a plurality of filter units 12a each with a filter part installed on a filter wheel 14a, each circumferentially extending at about the same angle as all other filter units, and separated circumferentially by the same space from adjacent filter units as well as opening units 12b provided on an opening wheel 14b in the number equal to a certain integral quotient when divided by the number of the filter parts provided, each circumferentially extending at an angle that is the radial angle of a filter part multiplied by that certain integral quotient, and each having an opening separated by the same space from those of other adjacent opening units 12b when a plurality of them are provided. The opening wheel 14b is rotated at the revolutions per unit hour obtained from the revolutions per unit hour of the filter wheel 14a multiplied by a certain integral number, and the revolution of the opening wheel 14b is adjusted in phase according to the revolution of the filter wheel 14a.
