An aspect of the present invention provides a safety syringe which comprises: a housing having a through-hole a needle assembly including a needle and a body where the needle is mounted and fluid flows out of the inner space of the housing, wherein the needle assembly is disposed inside the housing so as to enable the needle to proceed forward and be exposed to the outside of the housing or to retract and be located inside the housing a plunger disposed in a sealing manner inside the housing to be able to slide a fixing member arranged on the body to selectively fix the needle assembly to the housing after the needle assembly has proceeded forward by a predetermined distance and an elastic member connected to the needle assembly and arranged inside the housing to make restoring force imposed in a retraction direction of the needle assembly as the needle assembly proceeds forward and its length extends.
