The present invention discloses a trauma depth gauge which can be easily read by a user from various angles by a triangular scale. The present invention comprises a body, a depth measuring rod, a triangular scale and a slide knob. The body has a grip portion formed on the inner side of the first bore and capable of being hand held by a surgeon and a thin tube portion extending under the grip portion and having a second bore formed on the inner side so as to communicate with the first bore. A guide slot is formed along the longitudinal direction so as to communicate with the first bore on the outer surface of the body. The depth measuring bar is sandwiched between the first bore and the second bore so as to be able to move along the first bore and the second bore, and the tip projects outside the second bore. The triangular scale is fitted to the first bore so as to protrude and retreat, and is coupled to the depth measuring bar, and a plurality of graduations are displayed. The slide knob is mounted to move along the guide slot and is coupled to the depth measuring bar. The guide block of the depth measuring rod is equipped with an elastic mechanism which can restrain the operation of the slide knob. According to the present invention, the scales displayed by the surgeon on the triangular scale can be easily read from various angles even during the surgical operation.
