A condenser apparatus 2 comprises first and second members 6, 8 and a cooling arrangement 10 configured for cooling at least one of the first and second members .6, 8. The first and second members 6, 8 are arranged adjacent to one another so as to define a gap 12 there-between. An upper one 6 of the first and second members is configured to allow water to pass from an upper side thereof to the gap 12 and a lower one 8 of the first and second members is configured to allow water to pass from the gap 12 to an underside of the lower one 8 of the first and second members. The condenser apparatus 2 may be configured for use in the irrigation of plants. An associated method of condensing water vapour is also disclosed for use, in particular though not exclusively, for the irrigation of plants.
