PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester for carrying out a sufficient separation treatment without obstructing arrangement of a suction fan.SOLUTION: In the combine harvester, a tailings return apparatus for supplying tailings recovered by a tailings recovery mechanism 450 to the upstream side end part of a separation part 200 in the grain culm conveying direction has transverse feed conveying paths 18 and 21 arranged approximately in parallel with the axis of the revolving shaft 131 of a threshing cylinder 130 at a part positioned at the same position of the threshing cylinder 130 with respect to the axial direction of the revolving shaft 131 of the threshing cylinder 130.
