ABSTRACT A QUAD LEAD THREAD PEDICLE SCREW The present invention provides a quad lead thread pedicle screw configured with threading pattern of starting with two threads and ending with four threads. Said quad lead thread pedicle screw comprises two parts a head portion (1) and a thread shaft (2). More particularly said thread shaft (2) consist of a two threads starting (3) from the distal section (7) and ends with four threads (5) at proximal section (6) showing immobilization and stabilization of spinal segments in surgical applications. Further it provides less number of rotations to insert screw and substantially reduction of operation time. The present invention provides a head portion (1) that facilitates poly axial, poly reduction and mono axial and mono reduction angulations for pivoting or rotation. The quad lead pedicle screw also provides a conical shape with blunt tip at the distal end having pre self-tapping thereby reducing any chance of screw pullout. Fig. 1
