PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bedsore-preventing material which improves the elasticity of the skin and keeps a state in which the elasticity of the skin is improved, for a long period of time.SOLUTION: The bedsore-preventing material comprises an artificial protein (A) having a GAGAGS sequences (1) and the following amino acid sequences (X) and/or the following amino acid sequences (X). In this case, the ratio of the GAGAGS sequences (1) to all the amino acids of (A) [{the number of the GAGAGS sequences (1) of (A)×6}/the number of all the amino acids of (A)×100] is 5-60%. The amino acid sequence (X) is at least a kind of amino acid sequence selected from the group consisting of a VPGVG sequence (2), a GVGVP sequence (3) and a GAHGPAGPK sequence (4).
