PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip unit for a ligation device in which a large opened wound can be ligated easily.SOLUTION: A clip unit for a ligation device includes an arm 101 opened so as to provide elastic restoring force in which the tip of a pair of arm legs 101a and 101b comprising a long flat plate may be directed to the direction going away to each other, and a cylindrical ring 109 inserted from the pair of arm leg proximal ends. The clip unit is configured such that claws 10e and 10g provided at the tip of the arm leg are closed by moving the ring 109 from the arm leg proximal end toward the tip.
