PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjustment method and an adjusting device of a rotary machine capable of adjusting balance in rotation easily and precisely.SOLUTION: The adjusting device 1 of the rotary machine 50 having a movable base 51 formed rotatably with an axial center C as a center has: a vibration pickup 10 formed so that it can measure the amplitude of the lengthwise and crosswise vibration of the rotary machine when the movable base 51 is rotated an adjustment weight 30 arranged in the movable base 51 and a PC 20 having a control section 21 for calculating the position and weight of the adjustment weight 30, a storage section 22, and an amplifier 24.
