An improved medical connector is provided. A connector for coupling to a base portion of a medical device having a circular hub with a circumferential recess is provided. The connector includes a cap having an upper surface and a lower surface, wherein the cap is defined with at least two pairs of slots extending from a peripheral region toward a central region, the slots extending the cap into at least two undeformed lobes. And at least two elastic lobes. Each elastic lobe portion has a lifting tab projecting outward, an engaging portion projecting inward, and at least one elastic region. When the connector is placed on the circular hub and the connector is pushed down, the engaging portion is engaged with the circumferential recess of the circular hub so that the connector can rotate all around the circular hub. By lifting the lifting tab, the elastic lobe portion and the respective engaging portions of the elastic lobe portion are reversibly displaced in the radial direction and detached from the circumferential recess, whereby the connector is removed.
